I had never considered myself a 2D artist but during Covid when I found myself in San Francisco without a studio and was gifted a watercolor and acrylic paint set, some brushes and a handful of rulers, I began to change that.

My tattoo, Lifelines, was the only 2d work I ever considered my own and even that is essentially a 3D work since it lives on my body. This collection is the first collection of 2D work created during this time of exploration and limited access during the lockdowns.

Now 2D art, sketching and painting make up much of my artistic practice. Something I am very grateful for.
